So this past Saturday David & I had to take a business trip to Ft. Worth so after we got business taken care of we decided to enjoy some of the sites. We spent some time at the Botanical Gardens, which were really impressive, and we went to a couple of other small parks in the area and then stayed the night at a bed & breakfast. We ate at a couple of cool places, a sandwhich shop for lunch called The Great Outdoors & Luciles (apparently a stateside bistro) for dinner. It was a nice break for both of us. Here are a few pictures from our weekend - I will post more pictures in another post.

This is a rainforest cactus - we thought it was interesting.
I am not sure what kind of bird this is, but there were 2 of them. The colors on them were very vibrant, but it was hard to capture that on camera.
Maybe we will get back to Ft. Worth another weekend to enjoy more of the fun tourist spots!
