Jog-a-Fun 2010

Jog-a-fun is another major event for the school I work at. It is what I do in the Spring time. It is a lot more work than Partnership Dinner, but definitely worth it in the end. I remembered to actually take pictures this year. The one below is my absolute favorite. We process, stamp, & mail out thousands...yes thousands... of these letters every year to help raise money for the school.

This particular letter came back from my AWESOME niece, Kelsey, who wrote me a sweet note of encouragement. I loved getting it! :)

Go to work at 6:45 the morning of and it looked like it was going to rain and fog covered everything...

We start with Kindergarten and go up by grades throughout the day. The high school students run a 5K in the afternoon.

This year we had a special tribute to a great lady who passed due to cancer. Her grandkids go the the school and she & her husband would come every year for Jog so that she could run..she even mailed out letters herself. :)

The gentleman on the bike is a parent and does our music every year and builds crazy contraptions that the kids enjoy.
