2011

I am not sure what God has in store for David & I in the coming year, but I am very glad that He will be a part of it!

I decided to start off 2011 by participating in Beth Moore's Siesta Scripture Memory Team. (Here is a link for you to check it out http://blog.lproof.org/.) I had read about this sometime early last year and thought it would be a good thing to do, but got busy and did not do it. I am not very consistant in my bible studying and scripture reading as I should be and one of my goals for the year is to change that. I enjoy being in God's Word and there is no reason for me not to do that on a daily basis.

Today began the first day of the Scripture Memory Team and the verse I chose is:

Even to your old age and gray hairs,
I am He, I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:4 (NIV)

(Beth Moore took a picture like this and posted it on her blog & I thought it was a cool idea :)

There are a few more goals that I will set for myself for the year, but this particular one takes priority. :)

Happy New Year, everyone!
